Appearance: pours a murky golden yellow color, with a thick two finger foam head. Retains well.
Aroma: citric fruit (especially Orange) and pineapple. Some slight malty undertones.
Taste: Bitter citric peel up front, slight booze and notable malts to follow. Bitterness lingers around through the finish.
Overall: I came into this one with low expectations, and found myself surprised. Not complex but it's got good balance and does well with simplicity. Strikes me as a solid West Coast style IPA.
