This can, purchased at Total Wine )beware( turned out to be over a year old, but here it is. Kind of a spew opening the pop-top. Pours a clear yellow-amber with more than enough foam in the Duvel nonic. Aroma of citrus and melon with a plastic nose. Sudsy mouthfeel and a rather light body. Some flavors of grapefruit with resiny notes. Modest bitterness but rather astringent in a generic way. This is one not to age, but I drank half of it anyway. From the 16 oz can.

Can dated 08/10/2021 into a Willi Belcher glass.
L: Pours vibrant golden with nearly 2 fingers of variable density white head with good retention and left thick sheeting ringed laces.
S: Dank and berries, not hyper potent but very enjoyable.
T: Follows the nose well with some underlying malt presence. Finishes with moderate bitterness and a hint of acidity, clears palate fairly quickly.
F: Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation, dances on the tongue from the higher carbonation, slick on the swallow.
O: My second 'lager' from Altamont, and it's definitely far more on the IPL spectrum than it is on the Italian Pils (with modern hops) spectrum. That said I enjoyed it. It's nowhere near something like North Park's Party Cup for my palate and preferences, but it's still a quite tasty IPL. I'll definitely grab again when I see it fresh.
