Pours a clear light golden color with a retentive head. Big bubbles make up the head.

Smells danky and citrusy. Hint of pine as well.

Pineapple profiles hit the senses immediately, going into the mid I get some melon and grapefruit. Finishes danky with a bit of a bitter aftertaste.

This was the second beer of the day for me at this year's (2022) dipa fest to kick off sfbw. So you know, on draft kind of. They pour ahead of time so you lose a little bit of carbonation.

Pours dark gold. 1/4" white head. Wasn't getting too much Nelson out of this one. Been a hell of a cold and allergy season, wondered if that was compromising me on this day, full disclosure. Just really took on more of the other hops in the nose, but it was still smelling nice, just getting more of the other 3.

Taste still pushing Idaho 7 and Azzaca more than anything. Solid bitterness, but the dank diesel notes were pretty mild contrary to the commercial tug job. Resonates as true as two weeks to flatten the curve. Mouth feel was a tad heavy and less crisp than their dipas. Wasn't quite hot, but again, totally different take here than on their 8% dipas. Its tough to go up and keep the same drinkability, I get it.

I good beer I wouldn't hesitate to pick up in cans, but also a notch below most of their dipas. Let's Go Zandon in the Kentucky Derby this weekend!

Clear yellow amber brew with plenty of foam in the tall nonic. Citrus and mango aroma. A little acidic with an alcohol tang. Tastes of every kind of citrus peel with a hot finish.

Truly the weird pineapple taste, funky and sweet, but slides down easy. Flavorful and powerful. Endless citrus peel aftertaste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Dated 10/6/21.
