I visited Chief Spring's a few weeks back while adventuring through southwest Washington. It's a pretty cool place inside, a pizza joint eclectically built out with a nice patio in the back. On the day I was there, there was some kind of street festival and car show, so there was an extra beer garden open in the parking lot next door.
On my visit, they had 9 beers available plus guest cider and seltzer. Styles were a brown ale, an "apple ale", amber, red, honey wheat ale, another wheat ale, stout, Scottish ale, and IPA. I had the wheat and the IPA, neither of which particularly tickled my fancy. Service was good, although you have to order at the bar, and the pepperoni pizza I had was hot and greasy and exactly what I wanted. Overall, I think they make a better pizza place than brewery, but I am glad to see them out there doing the small town brewery thing!

Decent little place right on the main drag through Dayton. Bar as well as tables, a patio, with a firefighters theme. Friendly staff. Beers were OK, and overall it had a nice vibe. Cute little town.

We stopped at Chief Spring's Fire & Irons Brew Pub while visiting Dayton on a weekend trailer trip.
A good sized place for the town, with a lot of fire fighter memorabilia. The brewery is in the basement.
Quality is OK. I had a Red a Stout and an IPA. All were essentially the same beer. Unfiltered and average for the style
Service was questionable. The place was near empty, and there were a few regulars, but they didn't seem too interested in selling us beer at 3 in the afternoon. I would finish my mug, wait a few minutes and then ask for something else.
Selection included about 10 taps, All brewed in house.
Overall easily the best place in Dayton, maybe for a 30 mile radius. But average.
