Dark amber color with a thick thin head with short retention.
Aroma with lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, anise, caramels, wood and a bit of booze.
Flavor with notes of caramels, booze, nutmeg, pepper, dark fruits, toasted malts and wood chips. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Bordering medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 11% is felt, but with no warming effect.
Spiced Quad, it felt somewhat one dimensional with anis and nutmeg dominating too much the recipe.
