600 ml bottle, exp. 07/2017. Unpleasant and expensive, but maybe it would make a nice sour beer.

Pale yellow color and a little bit hazy. Poured a two finger head with good persistency.
Good carbonation, small bubbles.
Refreshing taste resulted mostly from hops rather than carbonation. Predominance of malt sweetness and hints of grassy hops. Mildly bitter with a sweet and a bit dry aftertaste. No metallic taste and no bad aroma, still good to go after warming up, it just lack a little personality, but still a good refreshing beer.

Refreshing taste resulted mostly from hops rather than carbonation. Predominance of malt sweetness and hints of grassy hops. Mildly bitter with a sweet and a bit dry aftertaste. Bier Hoff Original is an unfiltered lager, and was sampled in a frozen mug at the Estação Shopping locale. On to the beer:
It may be pale yellow with a little haze in the body, but this beer has some excellent head retention and great lace. And then reality checks in. There is a soft cereal sweetness and a light grassy aroma. Not great, but it sure beats Skol!
Simple, somewhat flavorful, and not very offensive. Simple cereal sweetness, a little husk and hay make the flavor to this beer. Its light, clean body play a role for its easy to drink character without turing into complete shit as it warms.
An okay beer, unfiltered or otherwise. You're not missing out on a whole lot here.
