Maybe the best Winter Warmer I've had; gin is subtle and mostly on breathing out when the beer warms. Very well done. All of the spice traits you want and then some. Drinking great in March '16.

From notes. On draft
Muddy Deep dark ruddy brown. Like if cherrywood went blackish. Not much head to speak of. Gets a bit of deep old-bloody red at the edges in the light.
Nose starts off sweet which caught me a little by surprise. Flowers. All I can think of is honeysuckle. Grows on me. Clean. Berries?
Definitely moving more in the berries direction. Blackberries and juniper berries. But like, the flavour of juniper without so much of its usual accompanying bitterness. Underlying these berry sweets is a toasty base, and the components compliment one another well. If I said gin and juice, it would sort of be accurate, but misleading. Smoothe and sweet overall. Just enough juniper to give it a little tart note, but it's decidedly more sweet than tart; more juniper berry (with the emphasis on berry) than juniper twig.
An interesting and truly unique beer for me; I've never had anything quite like it. It took me by surprise a bit at first, but it grew on me and I quite enjoyed it overall, even if the sweet side got to be a little much by the bottom of the glass.
