Draught pour at the tasting room in Redding into a shaker pint. Pours a mahogany red with a thin layer of white head that left some ringed lacing. Nose is a bit mute, lots of malt attributes, including a bit of sweetness likely from caramel malt. Wanted more hop aroma. Taste is slightly sweet and fairly balanced. Mouthfeel is solid, good carbonation, and finishes with a bit of bitterness. ABV is well hidden. Like my red ales/IPAs a bit drier and hoppier, but I'll def get this one again.
