With a united goal, five Shasta County breweries have come together to create a special batch of beer in support of the Carr Fire relief efforts aiding survivors of the fire.

Last Friday, Fall River, Wildcard, Woody’s, Final Draft and Cedar Crest all gathered at Fall River’s new facility in Redding to create a West Coast IPA, “Shasta Strong”. This ale was a collaborative recipe designed with input from all five breweries.

Ingredients such as malt and hops were graciously donated by brewery vendors including, Country Malt Group, Great Western Malt and Yakima Chief Hops. “Shasta Strong” will feature Mosaic, Citra & Amarillo hops, yielding an IPA with great citrus notes and aroma.
