Dark gold pour into a 2017 Marquette jersey pint glass. Decent clarity. Thin 1/4" white head, meh retention. I recommend some Ronnie Milsap. The label is full on Dad mode, so I'll give it a slight bump for that.
The aroma was almost nothing. You search for it, you tell yourself you can smell grain. Hopping and yeast influence are nonexistent on the aroma side.
Taste is standard kind of blase blond ale territory. 2 row presence still seems muted, but the hop character even moreso. I get it, its a no frills relaxing branded marketing kind of beer. The carbonation should be higher in my opinion, this one just kind of sat on the palate mouthfeel wise. Lively me up, or make it dry, or make it yeasty, or make it hoppy, something please, I just wanna feel, much less feel alive.
To its credit, the beer doesn't do anything wrong or bad, but holy moly is it in the safe pedestrian beer lane. Reminds me of that George Strait, "When did you stop loving me?" song. I mean, you don't hate it, you don't love it.

Pours a very blonde color with a two finger head.
Smells very bready and biscuity.
Very wheaty and Bready all the way through. Minor bite towards the middle but fades quickly into the finish.
