I was a huge fan of the Deschutes Pine Drops IPA. For some ridiculous reason, Deschutes got rid of this gem. To be clear, I was not an IPA fan at the time. But the Deschutes Pine Drops IPA was a wonderful exception. Now that my palate has matured and I am an IPA fan, I miss the defunct Pine Drops IPA. When Fall River came out with the Golden Hour IPA, I felt like the hole left in my palate was filled with this new IPA. It has those same pine flavors that I had thought I'd never taste again. This is a solid beer for any IPA lover. And for anyone who has not acquired the IPA taste, this is a great introduction.
