Look: Rich black with a low brown head that has excellent retention.
Smell: Decadent chocolate and cream are very powerful, with a slight hint of vanilla also present.
Taste: I got a LOT of chocolate sweetness, which at first I found to be cloying, but I eventually got used to it and found the caramel and coffee notes to be enjoyable. I even noticed a faint bit of spice.
Feel: Low in the mouth and smooth. It was good, but underwhelming for a nitro brew.
Overall: Certainly a solid beer, but an improved feel and toned-down sweetness would do it wonders. I would recommend trying this brew.

this is very distinctive and very good, my first ever from fall river, cool to get to drink a bunch of their stuff in close proximity. i cant even imagine this not on nitro, the nitro does so much for it, creamy just like baileys in coffee, it tastes exactly like it claims too, quite sweet the whole way, and on the edge of too flavored, but the proportions are cool and the quality is there, a one and done for me but i dug the pint. not quite as black as a guinness, but with that level of nitro creaminess, a real compliment, this is gorgeous in the glass. the nose is chocolatey to me, even though its a coffee beer, i get a lot of milk chocolate sweet richness in the center of it, with some mellow roast behind it, toffee and even butterscotch sweetness, the irish cream element is there, and the coffee is low acid, cold brew likely, not crazy nuanced on the java side, but it fits in incredibly well. the flavor is literally baileys and coffee, stouty too yes, delicious, but i wish it were drier, the sweetness is on my teeth and tongue too long, even though i like whats there. the coffee is smooth and long and obviously loves the nitro, which is impeccable here and saves the mouthfeel for me from the sugar. definite cocoa notes, light vanilla adds to the creaminess, a hint of raisin, and just enough late bitterness. really exceptional flavor profile, a little more drinkability would rule, but how many of these does one really need? great first impression to get of these guys!

16 oz can with a January 2024 canning date stamped on the bottom.

This is a well balanced, bitter-sweet coffee stout but the nitro aspect is not executed as well as usual. It has a smooth but only somewhat creamy feel and a beige head with limited durability.
