A: The beer is very dark brown in color (close to near black). It poured with a half finger high foamy tan head that has good retention properties and hardly died down, consistently leaving a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of chocolate and roasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The overall taste has faint bits of sweetness and is filled with flavors of chocolate along with hints of roasted malts. The roasted malts linger into the finish, which has a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a nice stout if you are looking for something smooth that is chocolately without lots of bitterness.
