Not all journeys need complex, long or deep. Some can be quite palatable, easy and short; and The Dude's answers that call with a most excellent session IPA.
Most Excellent IPA arrives with a light straw, hazy and frothy appearance, breaming with a hop driven scent of tropical, citrus and vinous fruit with an herbal nearly citronella perfume. Light and succinct sweetness is crisp with wafer, water cracker and a hint of honeysuckle as the dry malts make an immediate impact on the early palate.
But the hops shine on the middle when the brightness of lime, passionfruit and pink grapefruit share a nearly bitter, nearly tangy fruit impression. Under ripened orange trends in the lemon direction along with green apple, white grape and light pineapple. Developing a quick and spicy bitterness, the late taste is herbal with fresh grassiness, fresh spruce, green tea, verbena and lemon pepper.
Light, crisp and refreshing, Most Excellent IPA finishes with a high thirst quenching property. Where it may lack flavor impact, it is highly crushable to make this journey worth at least two or three of these.

Got a mixed pack of nine pints from these guys. This one is my favorite. I don't even like session IPAs, but this is delicious!
L: Dude. This is one historically themed brew. Looking at this can made my day. The pour reveals a faintly hazy golden orange body with a nice fizzy head. Not much retention or lacing, just some speckles.
S: Aroma is very hop-forward. I get notes of tangerine and passion fruit with some white pepper and sage.
T: Very juicy. Strikingly better than any session IPA I have had yet. Beautiful balance.
F: Super easy drinking. Clean and smooth mouthfeel, nice tart finish. Could use more bite.
O: Never thought I'd really like a session IPA. This is a most impressive interpretation. Brew on, Dudes!
