The bartenders will pour samples. They even mix some beers together to make something you will like. Everything is great. Never crowded, and you can bring your own food in. Grab a pizza and take in to watch a game or sometimes they have live entertainment.

Too many artificial additives in the beer, but still a pleasant place to visit, with reasonable prices and fun flavors.

Have visited many times, thrilled to have a great quality local brewer. Very good slate of regular beers and consistently some great limited and seasonal selections. Love the Gothic! Brown Cow is outstanding. RIPA, Red Dawn, Eville always satisfy.

I had to go to Evansville for a sporting event and none of the breweries in Evansville were that highly rated by Carsons was higher than the rest. In my opinion this place and their beers are very under rated and I rarely say that.
From their regular lineup the Gothic was a very nice porter. Their FES was decent but the vanilla variant was excellent. We also had a Barel aged winter warmer which usually isn't my thing but it wasn't over done with the spices and had a great drinkability.
If you're on the fence about this place I would definitely hit them up and form your own opinion.

Stop #465 on my world brewery tour.
Stopped in around 6 on a Sunday evening in early Dec. Not too many people and two friendly older gals working the bar.
I had two flights...
Standard beers: honey blonde, amber wheat, APA, and Red IPA
Advanced flight of mostly barrel aged beers. They had a rum barrel pumpkin, rum barrel porter, bourbon barrel aged winter warmer, and a bourbon barrel stout. I passed on the bourbon barrel IPA as I really didn't see the point.
Nice place in an industrial park in Evansville. Tap room is cozy for said location with TVs showing the games.

have visited a couple of times & excited to see this local place continue to grow. with that said, would like to see this place incorporate a couple of easy improvements:
1). incorporate ABV & style into the beer listing. saves a lot of questions & should be standard.
2). add a bit of knowledge to the serving staff. it's a small business; i get that: friends, family. but ramp up the knowledge or add supplemental staff who can better relate to BAs or those budding craft enthusiasts. someone who can at least suggest a tasting line-up. when a friend asked if there was a certain order she should sample, the woman said, 'anyway you want.' i dont think she was purposefully employing 3Floyds attitude, either, just answering a question outside her area of expertise.
place is small, but comfortable. prefer patio seating to high tables & bar inside. no food, but you can carry-in. indoor & outdoor tvs usually have a variety of games. good audio system. bones of this place are good, and hopeful owner continues to tweak w. improvements. seasonal/special offerings have some winners. the core line up is solid/average.

The beer at Carsons Brewery in Evansville In is probably some of the best Craft brew I have ever had. The owner and head Brewer make every one feel like their part of the family. I recommend the Eville Wheat beer which I feel ranks right up there with Sam Adams. I predict it to be their number one seller in no time. For a brewery to only be open since Sept 2013 and producing such highly crafted beers says a lot about Head Brew Master John Mills who has won awards from several of his beers he has produced. The Owner David Jason Carson is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. The whole crew at Carsons Brewery are taking a Craft Brewery one step of ahead ! The Rapping Baker has a rating system 1 rolling pin being average to 10 rolling pins being the best. I give Eville Wheat from Carsons Brewery 10 rolling pins! This beer after drinking it will make you say just tap it!
