Copenhagen 17/10 2016. 50 cl swing bottle from Kvickly. Some obscure symbol on the label which looks like something that Einstürtze Neubaten would think was cool. Quite strange on a beer which relies on a "Danish West Coast Universe".
Pours hazy amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a fine thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is not particularly strong. Sweetish with caramel and a little fruity. Plums and peach.
Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is quite well balanced. Medium sweetness balanced by a medium strong fruity bitterness. Short bitter/sour aftertaste.
Quite fine brew if you can stomach how they go all in on the advertising for the idyllic West Coast where humble peasants brew beer in their "Gruekedel".
