L: Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold, small off-white head fades quickly, leaving a little bit of lace.
S: Snot locker gets plenty of citrus and some hops.
T: Taste buds get the citrus a bit of caramel, a moderately bitter finish.
F: Medium bodied, nicely carbonated, crisp and bright.
O: Very well done APA.

Poured from a can into a Nonic.
Pours orange-gold with a decent white head. Retention is so-so; but the lacing is pretty good.
Excellent aromas. Caramel malts, mild citrus, and just a bit of earthy/grassy/floral hop.
Pale malts and just a bit of caramel malt on the tip of the Tongue. Slightly honey-kissed. The mid-stream is lime zest and meyer lemon. Restrained and well balanced grassy and earthy hopping at the finish.
Medium bodied. Well carbonated. A medium finish but a drying one.
Bent Paddle makes my favorite Cascadian IPAs and here has delivered an excellent and true APA, not a weak IPA masquerading as one. It may be juuuust a bit hopped up for the style, but only as a matter of personal taste. An excellent APA that checks every box but also delivers a wealth of flavor with restraint and balance.

12oz can dated 3/04/21 poured vigorously into a 16oz nonic pint glass.
L: Pours a lightly hazed caramel gold with a thin eggshell white head that thins to edge foam. Some spotty skeletal lacing.
S: Orange, tangerine, light citrus, wet dog, grassy.
T: Tangerine, lemon zest, stone fruit, light melon. Bright tasting with some dankness throughout. Lightly resinous and a bit grassy with sweet lightly toasted malt. It has a beautifully balanced and blended medium long and mild bitter finish.
F: Lollygagger PA has a snappy, brisk and clean medium-light bodied mouthfeel. Only slightly drying it is crushable like a session ale.
O: An excellent Midwestern West Coast-Style pale ale. Very flavorful, hop forward and well balanced. Bordering on a session ale it is a bit more than that and is righteous on it's own. It is excellent in it's style.

Lollygagger pours a bronze color, with a perfectly sized, lacing head. Nice dry aroma. Flavor is very balanced, good malty kick, with a dry hop flavor to finish. Good body and feel. Overall, well built, easy drinking, drier APA.

Had on tap. Golden pour with white lacing and head. Smells of pale malt, grassy hops, orange, pineapple, and lemon. Solid apa in the taste, good citrus, grass, pale malts, and slight hop bitters. Feel is bright, medium bodied and decently carbonated. All around good

Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of citrus and caramel with hints of fresh cut grass. It tasted sweet and citrusy with just enough bitterness for balance.

From a 12 oz can into a shaker pint. Pours clear, on the orange side of amber with a big head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is citrusy with a bit of breadiness to back it up. I don't get anything super complex there. Taste is citrus and definitely hop heavy, but the malt backs it up very well. Finishes dry with a bitter, hoppy aftertaste. It's quite light-bodied and bubbly as well. This goes down very easily after a hot day, pretty disappointed that this is the last summer Bent Paddle will be offering this. Not a unique pale ale, but definitely a good one.
