Growler from the source, 4 days after being filled. Pours an opaque black with a beige head, dissipates quickly. Nose is tart raspberry with a bit of roasted malt. Taste is raspberries up front with subtle bitter chocolate, roasted malts and a dry finish. Tartness from the raspberries lingers making it quite dry in general. Feel is medium bodied, low carbonation, and very smooth. Probably my favorite take on Bent Paddle's black ale.
