Just as a portage takes you to a new body of water, our Pôrdij navigates the ever changing currents of the IPA style. This Hazy IPA piles on a massive “juicy” hop load, enough to bear down on anyone’s shoulders. Despite the added weight, the bitterness is kept at bay. The haze descends on this IPA like an early morning North-Shore fog, while a huge citrus fruit-forward nose gives way to an ample malt frame. Pôrdij Hazy IPA gives that freshly traveled paddler a nod of encouragement to get back in the water and paddle forth!

16oz pour

Like the OG but... you guessed, it, --- HAZY!!! So it is a tad more topical and juicy and all those fesh IPA tastes. But otherwise it's the same beer but less shelf life

Pours orange gold and not truly NEIPA-hazed. However, a bone-white huge fluffy head is really nice, retains well, and leaves some nice lacing.

The aromas are solidly citrus, mostly grapefruit. Just a little bit of grass.

The flavor follows the nose. Less sweet than anticipated, and that's just fine. The malts are much more pale/cracker than is the norm. Strong white grapefruit notes. Just a little bit of resin. White pepper and grass too.

Medium bodied and slightly drying at the finish. Pretty drinkable.

I'm not a big fan of NEIPAs, so the "Juicy" on the label put me off a bit. But this beer is pretty good. It's amber colored, and a little malty. There's a solid hop bite and bitterness. This is really closer to classic West Coast IPA territory than to the hazies that are currently fashionable. I'd get it again, easily.

I normally don't like IPAs...but this is good! Piney/floral nose, taste is same up front until settling to a mildly bitter finish.

Hazy but not full blown NE style. Does not look like much with its hazy appearance but has a nice head and plenty of lacing. Citrus forward aroma with notes of grapefruit and orange. Strong hop flavor with moderate bitterness. I taste citrus but not overly complex. Semi-dry malt adds a bready base. Nice body and carbonation.

Pours a cloudy burnt orange with a thin white head. Smells of mango, citrus, and pineapple. Taste is ripe orange, mango, and a gentle hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft, lightly carbonated, and a dry finish. Much easier drinking than last year's Imperial Pordij, and I think it's better done.
