Nitro pour at the taproom. Black color with a cascading head. Dark malts featured with very little roast. Chocolate and dark bread notes featured. Creamy body with a medium to light body. Probably not as interesting without the nitro.

No sign of light getting through, even the edge of the glass. Basically, black with an occasional glint of auburn at bottom of glass. Quite subdued, heavy roasted grain aroma. Thin, heavy toasted grain flavor, with a smidge of non-sweet caramel. Medium light, in mouthfeel. A basic, semi-toasted wood finish.
