Unique beer that does indeed smell like sugar cookies. Has a just a bit too much cardamon on the flavor but really this tastes like a sugar cookie cream ale which is what I was expecting.

It's not super rich or cloying but it is like drinking a cookie flavored beverage so you probably won't be pounding 13,14 of these at a tailgate or something but for what it claims to be it achieves.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It left some thin lacing. It smelled of almond, caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel taste with almond and vanilla.

Christmas Cookie Cream Ale pours a nice warm copper color with not much head. The aroma is very sweet, with notes of candied fruits and frosting. The flavor is sweeter, dry prunes, candied fruits, a hint of vanilla. Good feel. Overall, a sweet beer, very busy.

Just a simple cream ale, bordering on lager flavor, with a bit of cardamom (I guess?) at the end, and a slight nip of spice. Light and crispy and I want more

Fairly clear golden pour with a white head when poured from the tap.
Nose has hints of vanilla and almond that are pleasing, with what I assume is the cardamom.
I get a sugar cookie, or gingerbread cookie flavor going on here. The vanilla, almond and cardamom seem to be well balanced.
This beer is smooth and creamy.
Fairly delicious. I can't drink a 6 pack in a day, but good for a treat.

Very disappointing. Upon opening, I had a sinking feeling when I saw that the consistency was like a thin cream ale and the smell was uninteresting and plain. It tasted very plain as well, even a little watery, and I did not taste any of the cookie or almond or vanilla flavors claimed on the package. The only flavor I tasted was a hint of cardamom on the end, but it was lackluster. I love cardamom and would have been happy to drink it if it just tasted like cardamom the whole way through, at least it would've had flavor, but the little bit at the end was hardly redeeming. I was afraid it might be another one of those specialty beers that don't taste like what they claim, and sadly, it was.
