Really nice place, waiter was friendly and offered to taste any beer we were interested in. Food was good too, would definitely come back

Nice little out of the way place to grab a bite and a drink. All of their local stuff is outstanding and the food is top notch.

Many breweries have beer (duh) and then overpriced-overhyped food because well...they already have you there for the beer. Long story short, this place is the most bang for your buck brewery I've been to. The best beer in town and amazing food as well. Gumbo is the best in Southern LA, king cake bread pudding my wife makes us drive 30 miles for, and the Tuna Salad is LEGIT.
Their Double IPA (Inertia) is IMO their best beer, but it's only on from (I think) Nov-Feb.
The current brewer (Matt) is a cool guy and brewing is his passion (apparently). Keep it up Old Rail!

Great beer straight from the source. Reasonably priced with the sampler flights being the best way to go for someone wanting to try a little of everything. My favorites out of their flagship beers was the Echo Sierra Bravo which was a nice and malty ESB, and the 7 sisters which is a northern California style IPA that was nice and hoppy at about 70 IBUs. If your looking for something new and find yourself on the northshore this is a great place to get you some really good craft beer with tasty food to match.
