Clear gold with one finger of white head. Wall of fine bubble lace.
Smell is fruity pungent slightly green dank. Some bready malt.
Taste is fruity dank green hops a little pine as well. Just enough malt support for the style.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Finish is dry and mildly bitter.
Overall a fine IPA. Canned on Oct.16, 2019.

Clear, with a few floaties. Nose is more herbal, not the pine / citrus you get from most NWIPAs. A sip brings out a dry tasting ale, balanced hops and a malt base. This one tends on the Pale Ale side of the spectrum and is very refreshing and goes down well with a 6.5% ABV. The crew out in Yakima can certainly create some interesting beers. Let's hope this experimental hop variety bubbles to the top of the pile real soon.

Pours a clear golden amber color with plenty of foam in the Orval chalice. Lovely aroma of straw and lime. Flavors of green grape, hints of pineapple. I would call it a more of an "Imperial Pale Ale" with its restrained but fragrant hops, which are listed as experimental hop HBC 630. Whatever it is, the aroma is different and distinctive. I'd look forward to more work with this.

Overall this is extremely drinkable. The fruit is mild, there's a yeasty tasting tang, and the bitter aftertaste with a hint of astringency is just right for a lighter type of hoppy brew. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head that dissipates slowly to patches with nice lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and lightly tropical hops, orange, lemon, a little pineapple; smells nice. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, orange, lemon, grapefruit, pine needles and a little dankness. Good citrus and pine hop finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Always worth trying a new IPA from Bale Breaker and this on is certainly worthy. Fruit flavors are not as clear and intense as in the aroma, nor is there much caramel in malt, but has a pleasant, dry finish with good bitterness. Refreshing.

Six pack of cans purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
PKG on SEP1319. Poured in to a pint glass.

Look- Clear, golden orange color, decent foamy off-white head that recedes rather quickly, spotty lacing. light carbonation streaming as it sits.

Smell- Citrus (pithy lemon/lime, orange and grapefruit), pineapple, (a little milky coconut?), melon, dank and pine. A bit of bready malts. Light floral and grass notes.

Taste- Citrus really stands out, followed by the malt, other elements from the aroma are muted. Moderate bitterness on the finish.

Feel- Medium/light bodied with a crisp dry finish, nice light carbonation on the tongue.

O- A good rotating seasonal IPA, sessionable. Inexpensive too, worth trying if you see it.

12 oz can- Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, floral and resinous hops, some light malt. The taste is nice and balanced, solid bitterness throughout, malt mixes well with the hops. lemon comes through as it sits, also the hops start to feel pungent and linger long after the swallow, these are all good things in my mind. The body could be a little fuller, feels a bit watery, but carbonation is spot on. This is a well made IPA from Bale Breaker, really enjoyed it.

12oz can poured into110z tulip. Poured a lightly cloudy yellow color with 3/4 inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.

The aroma was all hops, citrusy mostly, with a touch of weed. No real grain presence.

Same on the tongue, just a huge hop wagon comin' round the bend.

The body was light-to-medium, and had a dry finish.

Drinkability was nice, no issues finishing the can, and would likely get it again.

Overall, a solid, but average-ish, brew that features a new variety of hop, HBC 630. Worth trying if you see it.
