Hazy pale gold with two fingers of white head. Rings of lace appear as the head drops.
Smell is vegetal green dank hops.
Taste is dank green vegetal some bready malt.
Mouthfeel is medium with strong carbonation. The finish is lightly dry and slightly bitter.
Overall an interesting IPA. Canned on 9/24/19.

a wet hopped new england type ipa, done in collaboration with a couple of breweries i dont think i have heard of before now. it seems like bale breaker does as much or more with the wet hop season than anyone else, and its awesome to have been able to enjoy a number of them. this one is hazy from the tap, with a high white head shaving cream thick and a soft orange glow to it. i dont know what the hops are, but i get a lot of mango, papaya, and melon out of it, and an apparent sweetness as well, but it doesnt seem malty to me in the traditional sense, its paler than that, less toasted and cooked, but not quite fermented to dry it doesnt seem. the flavor is also tropical, but now with a fresh squeezed orange juice thing going on and some oily herbal character, pine and juniper to me, almost weedy, some subtle candied citrus too. more juicy melon and mango late, and just a little bit of greenness to it, the wet hops becoming more and more obvious as i drink on it, a little dankness at the end, some sticky texture in the fluffy wheaty body, and high carbonation to keep it moving along nicely. a cool beer here, id love to know which hops are in it, but if its a hoppy beer from bale breaker, im all about it! loving what these guys do, especially with the wet hops.
