11/11/2020 first rated. Pours an amber color with a small white head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma spicy, citrus and a hint dankness. The bitterness goes through the entire sip, but with not a strong bite at the finish. 55 IBUs

Golden amber pour, clear and crisp. Aroma was fruity with floral and a hint of pine resin. Light head, good lacing. First sip is hops, pleasing bitterness, medium dryness. The floral taste still comes up. Fades out fairly quickly, but no off flavors. Modest carbonation.

12 oz. can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR
$2
about a month old according to the base of the can.
Poured a clear dark honey colour with a small off white head. Lace is copious afterwards.
Aroma is quite subdued but very "leafy" and earthy, getting slight tamarind and clementine aromas also.
Taste is again leafy and earthy and getting again faint tamarind..but there is something else i cant put my ringer on..like dank but not.
Mouth feel is just above average..well carbonated though and does not get sticky after a few sips.
A nice IPA..no more no less.

12oz can (packaged on Sep0920) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear, bright coppery-amber color with 3/4 inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma had some light fruit hops up front, with a solid malt base, and some brighter, sharper hops in the background.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with some nice bitterness on the tail. There was also a slight bit of a coppery taste than lingered.
The body was pretty typical for the style, maybe a bit lighter than average.
Drinkability was good, would bang again.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew. Worth a try if you see it.

Received from @woemad in a BIF box. Canned on 3/10/2020 so a little over 3 weeks old when reviewed. Poured into a Bale Breaker can-shaped glass also courtesy of @woemad. It pours a nice, clear honey-orange with a creamy, bright white cap and lots of thick, soapy lacing. The nose is fragrant and dank and features lemon, tangerine/orange, onion, hints of vanilla cream, and floral hops. The taste explodes with both tart and sweet citrus, including lemon peel, grapefruit rind, tangerine, and even a hint of lemon. But the fruit is well-balanced by resinous pine bitter, biting hops. The hop bill is not indicated on the can or the website and it seems more bitter than 55 IBU. This ale is crisp and medium-bodied with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the 7.1% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, Hop Desert is a really well-crafted West Coast IPA with lots of fruit and enough hops to please a commitment hophead. I really enjoyed it.

Clear deep gold with three finger of cream color head. Rings of lace appear as the head drops.
Smell is fruity green fresh hops aroma with some bready malt.
Taste is green dank fresh hops with some tropical fruit flavors. Good bready malt support.
Mouthfeel is medium with ample carbonation. The finish is medium dry and pleasantly bitter.
Overall a tasty full flavored IPA. Packaged on Jan. 13, 2020.
