Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, grapefruit, orange and mixed tropical and stone fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops with mild tropical fruit and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, light stone and mixed tropical fruit, light pine. Moderately piney and citrus hops finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A bright, fresh tasting IPA that has hints of fresh hopping. The Citra and Mosaic hops show their usual character and the other two I'm not familiar with add some light pine and vague, but pleasant mixed fruit notes. There were suggestions of dankness around the edges, but mostly citrus rind and light fruit. Refreshing and hoppy, as expected from Bale Breaker.
