this is gold, so so good, two of the best in the northwest when it comes to hops, so this is a no brainer, just still somehow ahead of lofty expectations. i guess they use fresh frozen mosaic cryo hops for this, a whole new level of fresh intensity in this, and its glorious, oddly drinkable at this abv too, i found myself almost addicted to it by the time i finished a single pint. unexpectedly clear, not sure why i expected the haze here, nice tall white head from the tap, brassy toned, looks nice. aroma bursts with fresh tangerine, key lime zest, pineapple candy and popsicle, and green melon, right up front its bold without being heavy, green, bitey, or bitter, and there is a wonderful newness to it. the malt bill seems simple but supportive, on the dry side, and the ferment is tidy. the flavor rules, these hops just sing in here, again an early start and fruity as can be, clementine and mandarin, honeydew again, pina colada, lime leaf, lemon verbena, hash oil, pine resin, and just a light toasted grain note underneath to keep it balanced. there are some minerals to this and some body, but i didnt find it oily or dense from the hops at all as these can sometimes be, the cryo i guess keeps some of that out of this, so it drinks crazy clean for being this pungent. lovely and punchy expression of mosaic, almost seems like more than just mosaic. dramatic without being radical, if that makes sense, super super good!

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Brigand chalice. Full bodied and plenthy of malt but not overly sweet. Aroma is grassy and alfalfa with a whiff of citrus. Brewed with Mosaic Cryo hops. This is quite fruity and piney, a classic IPA. Sturdy alcohol content adds a little fumes to each sip. Touch of lime peel. Clean flavors and moderate bitterness. From the 16 oz can purchased at Community Co-op in Bellingham. Dated JUN 03 22.

Frenz collab between two of my favorites; clear pale/amber with a soapy off-white head. Traditional hop notes of fruity resin and pine, grapefruit, some mild maltiness, no caramel really, some grassy bitterness, clear and dry and smooth.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, fizzy head. Aroma is mildly fruity before becoming grassy hops. Taste is malty, hoppy, juicy with a light lingering bitterness. Smooth, full.
