this series has been great, and this is another cool one, lighter looking, straw colored, not hazy enough to be dense, short white head on top from the tap. i wish i knew what the hops were, because its immediately pretty unique, herbal but not like gin botanicals or tea, more like culinary herbs, spring grasses, and lime leaf or something citrusy too, a light sweetness is evident, and a faint perfume floral thing in the hops too, seems like nothing green or bitter about it, and its maybe a little less intense to my nose than some of these have been, although i have not had all of them in the series unfortunately. the flavor is nice, but a little muted compared to the aroma, similar herbal characteristics, lemon thyme, holy basil, clean lemon, and then finishes with an almost spicy pop, still not real bitter. the grain is light in flavor but doesnt feel as fluffy or delicate or soft as the best of these, and i think thats in large part due to it feeling a bit under carbonated in this format, maybe its better from the can. this is relatively interesting beer overall, but its all from the hops. maybe not the most flawless beer from a quality standpoint from these guys, it doesnt have the polish that they usually do, even when they are hazy, but i like the hop profile a lot, and the residual sweetness serves to enhance it rather than distract from it.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy golden pour, initial big foamy head, subsides to thin covering of foam, lacing. Aroma is hoppy, piney, minty. Taste is sweet and fruity for a second before succumbing to a barrage of zesty, zippy hoppiness. Feels minty without being minty.

These are always decent and version #10 is no exception. Canned in November, the body on this one isn't murky or opaque, there is more of a soft moderate haze on the bright straw-gold body with a huge fluffy white head. The nose pope with fruity esters, stone fruit and peach, some light floral notes and a hint of pine along with a soft grainy malt body. Solid.
