A mentor told us when we first started out that here in the PNW, the best beer is an IPA so clear you can read a book through it. Here it is: Skyward IPA. A crisp West Coast IPA, named for the direction our hops stretch as they grow on our 4th generation hop farm. Hops: Citra®, Mosaic®, Krush™, Columbus

This beer pours a clear golden color with minimal head that dissipates rather quickly. This beer has a nice aroma of citrus and melon and sweetness. The taste is hop forward with a mild bitterness throughout; it almost tastes like a fresh hopped beer. Very good. 60 IBUs Rated 8-17-2024

My go-to- beer for dry-side Washington State 100F+ or any other temperature really.
Clean crisp on nose and taste.
Burt Grant would be proud. Not a juicy/hazy monstrosity. Just a good real IPA.
Had via 6pack local store and on tap at the brewery in Moxee.

Excellent beer. Crystal clear in the glass. It's zingy and refreshing. Clean and fairly dry finish, moderate bitterness, balanced. Because it's so clean and dry, the bitterness stands out quite a bit. There's little to no sweetness to balance it out - but this isn't a bad thing. In fact I'd say this characteristic makes it stand out as an awesome summertime beer.
This is my new go-to for a day trip to the lake with my dog and friends. A beer you drink when the weather is nice and the sky is clear. Skyward!

12oz can, from a 6er purchased at a local grocery store for $11.99. Canned on January 17, per the stamp on the bottom of the can.
Poured into the glass, this was a slightly chill hazed golden Amber color, with a decent sized off-white head. It was fairly easy to agitate the glass and reproduce the head once it dropped, and left streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Nose was of tropical fruit, melons, and citrus fruit. The nose is reminiscent but not quite right for a West Coast IPA. I'd call it more a juicy IPA, as it's definitely not similar to a hazy in the aroma department.
Taste is much like the nose. Fruit juicy sweetness, backed up by a grapefruity bitterness that is especially notable on the back end.
Medium bodied, with a slick, slightly resiny mouth feel.
Not really a classic West Coast IPA, but it's fairly adjacent to that. Definitely not a hazy, either. I'd call it a hop forward juicy IPA, not all that different from, say, Bodhizafa. This is not something I'd travel over hill and dale to acquire, but I'd definitely pick up another sixer from the grocery store for a fridge beer.

Look: Medium to dark yellow on the pour, which generates a nice pure white head that swells and settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Honeydew melon, nectarine, mango, apricot, Sumo mandarin, light raspberry, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Melon, mango, and apricot get it going and quickly joined by ripe nectarine that all show off individually before melding into a more singular note/blend. Sweet citrus and some light berry come on in the middle and all the flavors continue to intermingle through to the close
Mouthfeel: Full but somewhat light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and soft finishing with zero dryness detectable
Overall: I dig it. Another tasty and well-made IPA from these folks and comes with a unique blend of flavors/aromas as well. I personally wish it had a little conifer presence and more of a bite but hey, I can get that from their Topcutter IPA so not a detraction from an otherwise nicely done beer. Glad I grabbed a sixer

real drinkable pale ipa here from these guys, clean and well refined, peppy and modern on the hop side, middle of the road bitterness, an all day drinker for my money, stoked to find it on tap in sun valley. golden beer with stunning clarity and more than an inch of puffy lasting snow white head from the tap with bubbles constantly rising to join it, a sexy pour to say the least. the aroma is fresh and vibrant, not vegetal but verdant and alive, springy to me, brand new. clean lemon, brassy minerality, clementine and white grapefruit, snappy green grape, and honeysuckle all come to mind, nothing from the ferment at all, good water chemistry, there is a purity to this that is appealing, and its got some bitterness which belongs, great nose overall here. the flavor is just as good, the hops hit early, a little familiar, but not samey or generic, they pop like their could be some cryo hops in this, its not oily or sticky at all, and as it warms i get meyer lemon, lemon candy, juicy tropical qualities, and mandarin oranges from the can. the malt is real light, could be pils malt in with some light pale two row, seems especially basic but is not watery or lacking at all, it just keeps this clean and drinkable and perhaps requires a little less bitterness for perfect balance, which is has, the bitterness is there, but its not a defining element of this for me. i love how bright and polished it all is, how the hops lean a little resinous in taste but not feel at the end, and how some juniper and spruce herbaceous qualities support the more overt fruitiness of the hops. gorgeously dry on the palate. really well constructed beer, i will certainly plan to drink my share of this one. bale breaker always delivers on the hoppy stuff!

Light amber pour, finger or two of head, fades to ubbles. Citrus / fruit for the aroma. Taste is an upfront bitterness which is quickly comes down to a fresh, clean fruity hop flavors and a touch of light malt background. Sports a 6.5% ABV.
A very good example of a classic WCIPA. We hear this may be set for being a year-round offering which would make it a good candidate for a spot in the beer fridge to call its own.

Pours a crystal clear golden amber. Bright flavors of citrus with a strong finish of resins. Very zingy stuff with a sharp hoppy astringency. Perfectly clean and crisp. Grapefruit is the flavor. Rather thin and bitter overall, but quite quaffable. Actually it's a nice flavor, just so much citrus peel. From the 12 oz can purchased in the far NOrthwest. Packaged on JUL 21 23.

12 oz can purchased as a six pack from Westside Taphouse in West Salem OR.
$13.00
Pours a nice clear golden coloured body with a small off-white head. Pretty good lace.
Aroma mainly very much floral and some dank hops. Traditional.
Taste however seems to have some NZ hop influence. Though I am sure it isn't really, but it makes for a very drinkable yet complex IPA.
Mouth feel on this one is good quite thick for style yet the carbonation is generous.
A drinkable WC IPA
