Poured from a can dated 9-22-23 into a tulip glass.
Look- Pale gold, moderately hazy, large visible particulate, frothy white head, average head retention, above average lacing.
Smell- Pine resin, dank, grapefruit, mango, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Grapefruit, mango, pine, weak strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, moderately creamy, prickly.
Overall- Great look with a ton of large visible particulate. Beer reminded me of a snow globe. Bouquet was a nice mix of pine resin and citrus. The mouthfeel had the prickliness I wanted from a fresh hop beer. Flavors were good, just a bit on the weak side.

this is great, simplicity at its finest in a lot of ways, glad i didnt miss this one, a collaboration with russian river and in the west coast style, but restrained on the bitterness and decidedly light on the malt side, blonde is the color, the body is minimal, and the grain flavor is real subtle, just a light dry cereal thing to support the hops, surprisingly simplistic really in this regard. i love it not being a hazy, the refinement and drinkability are high, and thats a nice space to showcase this mix of fresh hops, highlighted by hbc 586, which i now consider a favorite, its so distinct and it pops in here with the simcoe and citra also used. not even honey or golden, this is yellow in appearance with an average white head on it. nose and taste of just picked hop goodness, high oils and acids, its almost fatty to me, coconut and not quite ripe berry, lemon and lemon curd, juicy honeydew melon and kiwi fruit, cut grass and fresh flowers, some real dankness to it but also uplifted by it, not made heavy or sticky, and this drinks easy and clean overall. subtle peach, honey, elderflower, and strawberry candy, really nice hop complexion, subtle fade to it, but it makes it mellow, and without much bitterness for a west coast type, it does present a bit like a pale ale, which was a theme for me this year across a ton of wet hop beers, a lot more mild seemed to be the trend this year. excellent carbonation, i like the light body and basic grain complexion, and the hops work great together, citra with a lemongrass thing as it warms, simcoe pulling grapefruit and tangerine, and all the rest of the hoppy brilliance from the hbc 586, that one should get a name. tidy ferment, crushable pint. love it as good as anticipated from these two titans of hoppy beer!

Clear beer for the win; this one is fresh, clean, and light. Hop aromas and flavors are old school but not overpowering in their bitterness; pine and grapefruit, some resin and biscuit, some oily bitterness, clean finish. Crushable.

Can received in a porch bombing from @snaotheus. ….. poured into a pretentious beer glass produces a clear golden liquid with streams of carbonation, capped by a two finger white foam, shaving cream, cap, recipes to a ring with spotty lacings
Aroma is grapefruit, pine
Tase is grapefruit, grapefruit rind, pine
Hop taste, no bite
Good beer

16oz can (packaged 9/21/2023) into a tulip. Pours a clear honey golden color with a 1-finger clean white head.
Aroma is dank and resinous with distinct grapefruit rind and pine notes. You can smell the whole-cone hops on this one.
Taste is a blend of pale biscuity malt and that same resinous, alpha acid-laden quality of the aroma. Hop flavors envelop the palate with bitter citrus and even a spicy quality. Simcoe dominant. Unapologetically West Coast.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, satisfying. Finishes clean, super drinkable.
Overall an outstanding fresh hop beer that belongs in the same discussion with some of my favorites of the season.

16oz tallboy can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $3.89.
Clear golden amber color. Lots of bubbles were seen arcing skyward. Big, creamy and sudsy looking bone-white head. Lots of lace.
Big hop nose, reminiscent of grapefruit and stone fruits, in pretty much equal amplitude.
Taste is much like the nose, but a bit more complex. There's also some flavors reminiscent of tropical fruits. Finishes fairly dry and crisp.
Medium bodied, with a crisp, dry mouth feel.
The hops really pop in this one. I could drink this all day.
