gorgeous ipa here, almost impossibly light and clean on the grain side, super pale, light bodied, and quick, fermented clean and dry, almost seems like its impossible for this base to support all this hop intensity, but it does, snappy and bright, true contemporary west coast style, once again impressively executed by these guys. golden blonde with an average head from the tap, bubbly and sort of simple looking, looking like a beer. the aroma pops though, a great mix of hops, all incredible fresh, cantaloupe character to me, juicy pineapple, and white peach, amazing fruit bouquet here, tangerine too, a little dankness, some bitterness apparent, nothing vegetal or forced though, and the up front pungency is remarkable. the hops are bold in the flavor, with an early start, and a sort of concentrated, even almost candied thing to them, although the beer is objectively dry overall. i get yellow peach and peach rings, ripe melon, kumquat and clementine, meyer lemon, and a sort of grapey weed aspect. bitterness modest, actually smells more intense there than it tastes, some grassy and herbal notes as this warms, but it remains fruit forward from the hops more than anything else. real light and easy in body, well carbonated, and very fast finishing for being this hoppy. majorly clean, fresh, and drinkable, subtly unique on the hops side, perhaps some hop product is in play with this one driving the up front intensity, really solid. they should package this if they dont already...
