perhaps my favorite of the beers we had here at bale breaker, excluding their epic fresh hop selections, this thing is killer, would make a fine addition to their fulltime packaged lineup if they were so inclined, modern and delicious, with one of my favorite hops in it, krush, formerly hbc 586, one of the most distinctive varietals there is, straight meyer lemon and berry, mad interesting and good, especially with the supporting cast this has around it. such a blonde and light looking beer, clear and sparkling, very meticulously refined it appears, just gorgeous in the glass, frantic and excited and pure. the nose is floral from the hops, intense and bold early, definite lemon, white grape, and green gooseberry here, lush and fresh, some pineapple and catty characteristics from mosaic, melon rind, key lime, all of it there in the flavor with soft white florals, white currant, fruity pebbles cereal, zesty citrus, and just enough bitterness, incredible depth of flavor to this, all so forward and central on the palate, like im tasting and feeling this in new places in my mouth, incredible. its juicy but then its dry, mouthwatering really, crazy for a non sour beer. jovial carbonation lightens this further, hop freshness and saturation are mega, and overall i adored this. bale breaker really impressed me when we visited, unbeatable hoppy beer, super modern and flavorful across the board, love their work!
