I had this beer on-tap in a nonic pint glass at Churchkey Pub in Edmonds.
Appearance: pale straw hue with a totally clear body and a good effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy eggshell foam.
Smell: moderately sweet malt with a somewhat astringent, grainy character. Maybe not my favorite.
Taste: sweetish malt up front with that grainy, astringent character from the aroma, though in the flavor the sweetness balances this better. Hops are maybe a little citrusy in character, with bitterness a bit on the high side.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly cromulent bitter American lager.

Crisp and straightforward American adjunct lager for those days when you want something easy, but you don’t want a macro brew. Exceeding my low expectations for the style, it was also enjoyable to drink on draft while playing darts at the local sports bar.
