Poured into a Seattle Beer Week glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt with a hint of biscuit, piney and tropical fruit hops, light pine, mixed tropical fruit and catty dankness. Flavor follows with pale malt and piney, dank and tropical fruit hops, catty dankness, pine, passion fruit and guava and a little grapefruit; solid resinous and dank bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A nicely bitter and dank IPA with moderate amounts of tropical fruit and a little pine. The hop bill is a bit busy, leans solid West Coast with the addition of tropical character.

Canned 10/30. Clear pour, smallish head, picking up a few floaters. Nose is tropical fruit with a hint of pine. Taste is aggressive hop bitterness with lots of hop tastes, leading with tropical , then joined by some piney notes, typically from that Simcoe. Feel is very smooth, well carbonated on the finish. Quite enjoyable as a sipper - you wouldn't slam down this one. ABV is typical IPA at just 6.7%
