Appearance is black with a slight red hue. Very thin mocha head produced.
Aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and coffee/dark chocolate.
Taste- In the front there is big cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla flavors. On the back there is roasty, dark chocolate flavors that round this out. Perfect balance between roasty malt and sweetness.
Feel- Definitely on the thinner side with a finish that disappears very quickly.
Overall- This is a great pumpkin stout with big cinnamon sweetness and a nice roasty malt for a great balance. On the thinner side, but its 4% so that's not a big surprise. Overall its a perfect beer for the fall and doesn't fall in the trap of being too sweet that pumpkin beers too often fall into. (90/100)
