Shiny black straight from the tap at the source, and being an Imperial "Christmas" stout in the middle of July seems perfectly fitting.
Shiny black in color with an espresso forward aroma complimented by faint dark chocolate and berry.
Tastes of milk and dark chocolate followed by mint, coffee bean husk and cream. Somewhat bready (chocolate cake).
Medium to heavy but quite smooth with an easy-going alcohol heat that lasts. A bit of syrupy stickiness is left on the lips.
What a midsummer treat!
