Hazy, oaty, and like the brewery’s description has a nutty backbone. There’s a bitter rind-like finish, but the oats do rule the backbone. And it’s refreshing enough. Looking forward to trying others in their ever-evolving ipa creations.

On tap. Pours a hazy orange-gold with a two finger head that lingers and leaves an inch of lacing. Nose of citrus hops and pear. Taste is citrus hops and mango with a peppery hop finish. Medium body and medium carbonation.
Another good adaption ale, although not as good as last years. It's a juicy, hazy, NE style IPA with enough hop punch to not be too sweet. Another dimension of IPA that they can do well.

Pours a hazy golden-orange color with a bubbly white head. Looks like the now-popular New England-style IPAs.
There's not much aroma on this one, but then again I don't have a strong sense of smell!
The website says this is brewed with oats. This is such a cool idea, and it works very well in the beer. The bitterness is subtle. The most prominent flavor is bitter melon and ripe orange juice. The oats provide a smooth biscuity flavor as it slides down. On the back is lemon and pepper.
The oats provide a silky smooth mouth feel. This year's adaptation drinks creamy yet light with slight carbonation.
Overall, this is such a different and wonderful beer! I don't know the ABV but whatever it is it's hidden. The juiciness of the flavors combined with the silky mouth feel make this beer stand out among the other AIPAs. Looking forward to the next 3 offerings this year.
