Pours an effervescent ebony with an instantly vanishing mocha colored head. Never seen a head disappear that quickly. Viscous, no head retention ( no surprise ), traces of lacing
S: Rum barrel, raisins, a little sharper booze once warm
T: Smooth dark rum, raisins, figs, a little barrel as well, just a little smokey edge. A touch of sweet dark chocolate, barrel dryness, more dark rum once warm,. Finishes with rich barrel notes, dark chocolate sweetness, coconut notes
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation,body really thickens up as it warms
Superb drinkability for the style & ABV, almost as good as another Oklahoma rum barrel Imp Stout. Both are about in the same price range
