Our Imperial Stout spent the last 15 months aging in select apple brandy barrels. We carefully selected this blend to be very barrel-forward, with notes of vanilla, spirits, barrel char, and smooth chocolate.

Pours a ruddy mahogany with a pinky of fast falling mocha colored head. Viscous, a little lacing & head retention
S: Tons of dark fruit, boozey brandy. smooths out
T: Chocolate, slight smokeyness, a bit of apple brandy heat/booze up front, plus a ton of figs& a little leafy hops. Dryness, figs, raisin, barrel with a little green apple & honey as this warms, just a bit of leafy & woody hop as well. Finishes with barrel warmth, a little apple juice, & a touch of caramel & woody hops
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, warming
Pretty good, not as good as Prairie's take, but just as pricey
