Very enjoyable DIPA. There is an unusual but pleasant aroma that I can’t identify but must be a variety of the hops in this brew. I’ll definitely look forward to some more of this and to what Roughtail comes up with next.

Appeareance: Pours a hazy orange color with a bubble show that produces a two finger head; very good retention with shards of lacing left behind
Smell: Tropical and citrus elements featuring pineapple, mango and orange
Taste: Pineapple and mango forward with orange citrus flavors building; moderate bitterness but considerable sweet fruit, too, in the finish; a hint of fusel alcohol in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A good DIPA but to be nitpicky, I would prefer a bit less sweetness and a bit more bitterness

Canned 10/27/21
L: Pours a hazy deep orange with a big fluffy head that doesn't last but remains a film. Thick and quite beautiful lacing.
S: Subdued aromas of juicy fruit and melon.
T: Tropical fruit and melon up front, with a surprisingly easy finish that belies the 8.5 ABV.
F: Medium to thin mouthfeel, which works well given the ABV.
O: A very well-done DIPA. Extremely flavorful with almost no high gravity heat.

Pours a super hazed amber/gold with a thumb+ of sand colored head. Fantastic lacing & good head retention
S: Fruit punch notes, a little lime & green melon
T: Follows the nose, plus sweet orange up front, pine, & pomelo up front. Passion fruit, oranges, green melon & a hint of vanilla as this warms. Tropical/Citrus Fruit finish with slight acidic ( Pineapple ) notes
MF: Medium body, fairly lively carbonation that smooths out once warm
Nice flavor & great drinkability, this one could sneak up on you quick
