Canned 091823 in a mix pack of Roughtail IPAs, this 95 calorie beer poured a frothy white head that took its time dissipating.
But the flavor is disappointing. It comes across as a wheat beer with nary a trace of orange, not even a lil'.

12 fl oz can:
Flavorful for a low calorie pale ale, sure, but not a great brew by any stretch.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass this one is quite tasty and interesting for what it is a low calorie IPA with about 7.5 g of carbs and only 95 calories, however also only 3.8% alcohol by volume.
I would describe this as a light session IPA and I wish more beers were brewed in the style as it really works well for folks like myself who are trying to reduce the amount of carbs for health reasons.
In reviewing this beer I am reviewing it in comparison to other session / low calorie ipas, and not standard ipas.
It pours a very pretty light gold slightly hazy liquid with a large white head but that quickly dissipates. The aroma is a little off, I can't put my finger on it but something isn't quite right but it isn't bad either.
Flavor is light somewhere in between a light beer and a pale ale, some very faint citrus notes but not as much as one would think given the name. Fair bit of hops mostly bitter but a little bit of aromatic and some floral hints.
Mouthfeel is light to medium.
I will reach for this beer the next time I'm looking for a low carb beer. It is a step above most of this style, however compared to most pale ales and ipas it's a little bit thin and week.
Lastly - my numerical scores are based on comparing it per the style of low carb IPA, and not a regular IPA.

Pours a hazed gold with a thumb+ of cream colored head. Go0d head retention & lacing
S: Some citrus notes
T: Sweet & tart oranges, a little lime, plus dryness up front. More of the same as this beer warms up, lime starts to dominate in the citrus department. Finishes a little dry with plenty of citrus
MF: Light body, slightly carbonated, good balance
Probably one of the better session IPAs I've had. These would work for me during the dog days if I was out on the Lake
