Poured a big thick head which dissipated to a thin patchy layer and nice lacing.
Color is sort of a dirty honey.
Aroma was orange citrus and some malt.
Taste was OK, definitely an orange citrus and some sweet malt, nicely balanced I thought. Bit of a bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is good.
I agree with the other reviewer, it’s a very nice Hazy IPA, but nothing special. You won’t be disappointed, but you also won’t go WOW!

L-Very bubbly headed beer. Almost soapy in appearance. This dissipates quickly. Body is dusty and juicy in appearance. High carbonation.
S-Orange and other tropical fruit juices, some floral hop, sugary sweetness, heavy maltiness, maybe some rosebud. Candy-like aroma.
T-Malty sweet, tropical fruits (most notably orange), solid bitter bite towards the end. A pretty to the numbers hazy NEDIPA (New England Double IPA).
F-Medium bodied beer with lively carbonation. Certain creaminess that is expected with the style is there.
O-I think I'm getting satiated with these NEDIPA's. It isn't bad at all, trust me. But I'm starting to lose connection between the names of these beers and the actual profile of the beer itself. If they're well made, they all seem to be the same and typically the names have absolutely nothing to do with the beer itself. This beer is in a "Cryptic Series" and is based off a monster but there is nothing about the profile of the beer itself that justifies this name... Don't get me wrong, I love the whimsical idea for the series and beer name. But it isn't justified. It's pretty high on ABV, but for the name I would expect something heavier. It's floral and sweet on the nose, but lacks anything funky or weirdly original. And the flavor is so similar to the majority of NEDIPA's I've had. There is nothing that makes me think of the name here.

Again. Serviceable beer that is in no way off putting and was enjoyable, but I truly feel like I've had this at least 3 times before.
