On tap @ Pies & Pints, Charleston, served in a snifter
A- Pours a murky dark bronze-brown color with a small creamy white head that retains nicely, eventually disappearing completely, leaving a bit of lace behind
S- faint tropical fruit aromas of mango and guava, some floral hop finished out with toasted bready malt
T- citrusy hops up front with notes of mango, guava and cantaloupe. Sweet bready toasted malt with a peppery touch meshes with some earthy notes, Semi-dry finish with more fruit and a hint of chocolate
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a smooth and sudsy mouthfeel and a clean finish
O- Fruity notes are balanced well with bready toasted malt, easy to drink as the alcohol is hidden pretty well, albeit only being just over 7%.
