An all around good stout from this Temecula brewery that doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's doing some really nice beers and with lots on tap that's all theirs. Very impressive to see a small brewery with about 40 of their own brews on tap at once.
This stout is black with a nice lasting firm khaki head. Nose is deep, coffee, black chocolate, sweet milk chocolate and lots of nice assertive roasted grain notes. Mouth feel is nice carbonation and an appealing medium body. Flavor profile is just what you expect in a well made stout; nice roasted grains, black coffee and dark chocolate notes with a nice hint of bitter. Well made and worth the drink!
