An outstanding stout that was luscious, creamy, complex, well-balanced and tasted more like an imperial stout than a regular one. Appearance was absolutely top notch, nice, very thick, dark brown almost black opaque color with abundant sheets of lingering lacing that coated the sides of the glass and lasted forever. Also a nice fluffy mocha colored head that showed excellent carbonation. Smells like nice mocha chocolate, medium roast coffee, caramel, creamy vanilla, malt, a little toasted nuttiness, faint hazelnut and a touch of brown sugar. Taste follows the nose. There was a very good balance between the richer coffee flavors with just a little bit of bitterness as well as the sweeter chocolate, vanilla and caramel. Excellent mouthfeel, luscious and thick and creamy, with good carbonation. Very smooth and coated the palate. An excellent offering from a brewery that’s new to me.

2016 on tap at the brewery.
It seems all of these beers I've tried so far, are just water with a bit of flavor. Glad I stopped and found a new place, but probably won't be back.

Used to be an amazing beer a couple of years ago before they changed their coffee beans. Still above average. The best coffee stout you'll find in Temecula.
