On-tap at the source itself, on to the beer:
This dry stout is colored black and topped with an inch of creamy head which retains well. Its aroma is mild with semi-sweet cocoa and vague roasted malt. The beer has a pleasant taste despite a whisper of what tastes like cardboard. There's enough unsweetened cocoa and a roastiness which is smooth instead of in your face. It's light boded with a low amount of carbonation, a bit too low I think. As it stands, it is an acceptable, easy drinking stout.

Pours a clear super dark crimson-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thick swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of roasted malt, cocoa, and nutty aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa and smoke flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the smell is pretty subdued on this one.
