Served in Willi Becher pint. Poured a full-on murky (as is the hip, kool trend these days) yellow color with 1/2 inch of white head that had OK retention and light lacing.
The aroma was sweet, sugary hops, with just a hint of grain in the background.
Very similar on the tongue, but with a nice, solid, bitter bite at the back of the tongue that lets ya know that you have a beer in front of you, and not just another glass of juice type product.
The body was nicely medium, which helped drinkability on a warm late spring afternoon, with a dry finish.
Drinkability was very nice, smooth and easy, it was a pleasant pint. Overall, a nice brew. Certainly worth your time if you see it.
