Hazy pale Witbier-colored brew with an abundance of white foam in the Spiegelau IPA Glass. A bit of funk in the nose. Sudsy in the mouth. Really an outstanding Brettanomyces experience with the modest hop flavors and light body. Mineral flavor with a pleasing herbal note.
This is described as a "Brett IPA" and "double dry-hopped with Citra and Hallertau Blanc." Tangy and light bodied. That interesting fragrance.
This is actually a really good Saison-tasting sort of beer, and requires a new look at Aslan, a brewery I have written off for dull beers and abysmal service if you unwise enough to try to buy beer at their restaurant. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Haggen Market in Burlington.
