Served in 16oz stemmed wine glass. Poured a medium hazy straw gold color, with an inch of white head that had moderate retention and heavy lacing.
The aroma was mostly Brett, with some wood notes from the barrel, and a light grain background. The hops from the dry-hopping weren't apparent.
On the tongue, things started similarly, but... The Brett seemed lighter, the wood fainter, but the Motueka hops used for dry-hopping popped up. As the glass was drank through though, the Brett and wood began to reassert themselves, and by the end, it was a very pleasant brew indeed.
The body was, surprisingly, medium. I had expected it to be a bit lighter, but I appreciated the substance. The beer had a very nicely dry finish.
Drinkability was good, but, understand, this is not a "slamming" beer. This brew is certainly a sipper, and worth the time. Overall, a very nice beer, most certainly worth your time if you encounter it.
