Served in 12oz Teku. Poured a clean, clear dark honey color with about 1/3 inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.

The aroma had a pleasing low grain scent, some soft hops, but I didn't pick up any of the Douglas Fir tips that give the beer its name.

Very similar on the tongue, some sweetness, low grain, and gentle hops. Maaaybee a hint of Doug Fir on the finish. or, i may have been trying to taste it.

The body was on the full side of medium, smooth, and had a slightly sweet finish.

The drinkability was good, i could see having this again. Overall, a nicely pleasant brew that could have used a touch more tree. Worth trying if you see it.
